Line of storms fell apart as it made it ways SE into central Iowa, although the northern portions of the storms have sustained somewhat and show signs of some bowing. At the house, 0.81" with 0.69" in 15 minutes. A gust of 34mph was recorded as well. This correlates well with the other rain gauge in the yard, but not great with SLB airport, which recorded only a few hundreths. I am becoming fairly certain that a trouble ticket needs to be filed with the SLB AWOS on their tipping bucket.
It could be an interesting afternoon if things pan out as SPC is somewhat outlining. In addition, blog updates may be a bit more spotty after 6PM with scheduled maintenance to this site.
