Severe weather outlook...
This will be brief. 00Z GFS shows system over upper Midwest/central Plains will be driving east and south. For the central States, high pressure will build in and create a quiet on Friday. High heads east towards Great Lakes by Sunday. Next system sets foot onto Plains by early next week with a warm front stretching eastward from Rockies.

I'm glad there will be some quieter weather the next few days. I definitely have a respect for the task NWS/SPC folks perform and how well they perform at them (I already had a respect, but last few days has gained them more). I definitely won't be around a computer too much tomorrow, so don't anticipate lots of posts as past 4 days.
It appears tomorrow will be attempt at installation of new weather station as winds look to be lighter than they will be on Sunday. Although, currently winds still howling outside in SLB/Storm Lake/ and have already picked up two dozen handfuls of twigs/branches (less than 1/2 in diameter).
